dynamic community of exchange among cities, their local merchants
and the citizens who drive, park and shop in those cities. |

- The
Parcxmart solution works because both the city and their merchants
profit from this exchange.
- Parcxmart
works with the municipality and Chamber of Commerce to sign up merchants
who will be the primary source for purchasing and reloading the
smart card.
- Parcxmart’s partnerships with the world’s leading point-of-sale terminal manufacturers means that the infrastructure to support Parcxmart cards is already available at many merchant locations, or can be easily installed as a replacement or side-by-side solution.
- Fixed, as well as portable and wireless terminals are all able to support the Parcxmart load application. In the case where a merchant already has a compatible smart card terminal, no onsite visit is required in order to install the card loading service.
- Commissions associated with the sale of load value are settled with the merchant, and value associated with the load volume is moved to the Parcxmart Trust Account.
- Over time Parcxmart cards will evolve into cards that can be used for a variety of payment purposes. For example, they may be used to pay for small value purchases at the merchant’s store. They may also be used for bus, train and ferry fares, and road tolls. The more uses, the more increased merchant traffic.
