All of the town's parking meters accept the Truckee card. It is simple and easy to use: Insert your Truckee Card into the meter. Do not remove your card at this point. Press the pay buttons to buy time on the meter. When you have bought your time press the green button to print your receipt. Remove your Truckee Card at this time.

Every meter has instructions on the front, a number to call if you encounter a problem, a meter number and details on parking rates and times.

The maximum time limit for every meter is printed just below the display.

If you encounter a problem with a meter call the town at the number printed on the front. Remember to note the street name and meter number so you have them handy when you call.
